Chocolate Hearts

Valentine’s Day is always the day of love and romance. Right now I am with my younger twin sister, Momoko, who is helping me make chocolate in the shape of hearts.

“Kokoro, why are you making chocolate hearts?”

“Because today is Valentine’s Day and I want it for someone.”

“Oh really?” Momo smirks.

“Is it because of Lee?”

When I hear Momo say Lee’s name I begins to blush and try not to hear the name of my longtime crush. I have never told him about my feelings for him because of my shyness.

After I’m done making chocolate, I gets the icing and writes “I love you” and “Be mine” on it, then puts it in a small red box with white and pink bow on top of it. She writes a small card that says “To Lee” which she put inside the box.

“So are you ready to give him the gift and tell him that you love him for this special day?” Momo asks to make sure that I am going to be nervous about it so I told her that “Don’t worry about it but this chocolate is telling my feelings for him. I hope that it will work!”

She tells me, “Hey sis, don’t worry. I have a feeling that he will return your feelings for him. Beside, I think that both of you look cute together. You know what I mean!”

She begins to smile at me which it calms me down. I tell her “Thank you.”

I open the door and grab the gift and think, “Maybe he is at the training ground with his team.”

I walk to the training ground and see Lee, Guy, Neji and Tenten. “So I guess that they are finished with their training!” I begin to walk to them. Tenten sees me and says “Hi Kokoro!” She notices the box behide me so she knows that I am going to give to Lee. She stands up, grabs Neji and Guy away so she can let Kokoro have her time to share her feeling for Konoha handsome devil alone.

“Hi Lee!” I began to smile and feel my face redden a little. “Hey Kokoro do you need something?” He asks me.

“Not really. I’m here for something important.”

“What important thing?”

“Umm” I still hold my gift behide me. “Should I give it to him or not” I’m thinking but I remember Momo’s words in my head and it calms me down. I begin to show the box to him.

I tell him “Happy Valentine’s Day Lee!” I begin to blush as red as I give it to him. “Thank you Kokoro.” He begins to smile at me and begins to open the box and read the card. He takes the wrapper off the chocolate and reads “I love you,” and “Be mine.”

We are quiet for a while then I see he’s still smiling at me. He tells me, “Sure, I’ll be your valentine because I love you too!” He walks to me and kisses me on my lips. I close my eyes and kiss him back.
